Social Support Services

These organizations are eligible for Federal surplus property. However, in accordance with Georgia Code, they are not eligible for State surplus property.

Eligibility requirements for social support services.

• Its operation is in conformance with the definitions of one of the categories of eligible institutions;
• Its operation is non-profit, tax-exempt;
• The institution is currently operating a shelter housing 10 or more individuals or providing homeless services at no charge, providing food services for homeless individuals; and
• It must sign the U. S. General Services Administration Assurance of Compliance form.
