Turn-in to Surplus Property

Turn-in to Surplus Property is the fastest disposal method available to state entities. A list of property is faxed to the appropriate surplus property center. The Surplus Property center staff schedules an appointment for the entity to deliver the property.

Once the property has been delivered and validated, the Surplus Property administration staff issues a “R” number. The “R” number enables the entity to remove the property from inventory.
