Local Government
Local government is eligible to receive federal and state surplus property. Service charges and restrictions apply for all property received.
Local government includes, but is not limited to:

Political subdivision of the state, unit of local government or economic development district, or any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof;

Volunteer fire departments and those not tax supported but recognized as an integral part of county/city safety programs (a viable fire-fighting organization).
