State Government
State government is eligible to receive federal and state surplus property. Service charges apply for all federal property and for certain state property. Federal and state restrictions apply to all property transferred.
State government includes, but is not limited to:

State or department, agency or instrumentality thereof;
- Instrumentality created by compact or other agreement between states and political subdivisions; and

Multi-jurisdictional, sub-state district established by or pursuant to state law.
Documentation for the above must include approved legislation, public decree, or public minutes establishing the entity.
