Retail Store Hours
Beginning January 2, 2008, the retail store hours at all three service centers will be changed to 8:00 to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Extended Thursday evening hours will be discontinued due to under utilization. Millions of dollars of state and federal surplus prop-
erty are redist-ributed to government entities through the Surplus Property Program. Items such as vehicles, shop equipment, office furniture, computers, hospital equipment, generators, road equipment, and more are available at surplus property centers in Atlanta, Americus, and Swainsboro. The program also assists state government in the disposal of surplus property through a variety of means, including Internet auctions.
The general public can purchase property through internet auctions sites or retail stores at each center.
